Mother's Day

WOAH! Well I can't really believe its 15th March ALREADY!!

And every week I tell myself I WILL blog and stay in touch

All I know is that those lil lucha hunks of mine have been keeping me busy..

BUT... Today I took some time out to enjoy being treated

After all it is MOTHER'S DAY!

So..... It started with a VERY RARE lay in...

Cuddling my furry boy under the rainbow!

Then his not so furry brother bust in with flowers a card and gift!

His usual AWESOME handmade card!!!

And the most beautiful smoky quartz!

The card stated all the things we would be doing... Starting with
breakfast in bed..

Then a lovely walk!

Where we found a magical fairy bridge...

We had to have our annual Mother's day pics!

And of course act silly!

I discovered a tiny planet stone!

Or maybe it's a spaceship?

Hung out in the tranquility building a tiny cairn

And collected lots of treasure in my usual nature womble style!

10 spirit stones! Awesome finds!

Later the guys cooked me pancakes for tea (my favourites)
And ran me the best seaside smelling bubbliest bath ever!

Look at this guy...

He's completely exhausted from all the fun!

And here are the goodies I gave MY Mum for Mother's day!

I turned Mum into a wookie

and made a card to match!

And also bought a beautiful crochet bag and matching brooch from

She was completely over the moon!
I highly recommend that page as she's not only an amazing crocheter but also one of my best friends!

I love how it all looked together..

My mum is a real purple lady!

So there you go.... My special day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of you lovely Mums out there...
And not just Mum's but anyone who cares!

After all after years of being a single Mum.. Noah called me the best MUM and DAD
in the world.. A title I shall treasure forever!

But I KNOW there must be some Dad's out there who take on the role of Mum
and are the best DAD and MUM in the world!

To animal Mum's

and never forgetting Mothers who are no longer with us in person but forever in our hearts..

BIG LOVE TO ALL!

Which reminds me... Meet Carmel..

Must slow down and update more regularly huh?

This is the new year!

Well here we are again... HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I hope you had a magical new years eve....
We had our annual chips on the beach..

Tiny was so excited to see the sand... He loves it!

I just soaked up the magical sky....

The beautiful waves...

My favourite rainbow beach huts

The stormy end of day from the pier

And the light show on the way back home

Where it was time for....
TACO'S and ROCK BAND!

With my favourite boys...

Seeing in THE YEAR OF THE LUCHA in style!!

As our alter egos.... Kitty (The Comet) Pinkstars

Noah aka SHORT CIRCUIT

Jacob aka THE KILLER KRAKEN

hahaha and our trusty sidekick... TINY!!!

Yep we had a lot of fun.. Crazy singing and all round silliness..
We watched the fireworks as usual on tv..

Thinking of our absent friend Walter..
Who loved to watch the new years fireworks with us!
Shed a tear....

And welcomed 2015

The year of the lucha!
Making like minded friends
Having fun
And embracing change..

Hopefully!

But instead of setting rigid rules for 2015... Why not just treat yourself nicely..
These are some lovely ideas I'll be trying

1. Drinking a hot cup of tea each morning while reading a book
2. Walking your dog through your favourite park
3. Listening to music you love while taking a dance break
4. Tuning into yourself through meditation
5.  Stretching your body and breathing
6. Writing in a journal

7. Asking yourself what you are grateful for daily
8. Learn something new
9. Stress less
10. Organise more

Why don't you try some things to make your life easier and treat yourself better!

I'd love to hear your plans...

Happy New Year!

Here's to a new adventure...

Sunday, 28 December 2014

And that was December

WOW! Well yet again... Another month flew by.

And now we're at the end of the year... 2014.. I must have blinked or just had a really good time!

Magical sunshine walks... Amazing sunrises... Putting up the tree... Christmas order craziness... Time spent with my furry friends...

Our Anniversary!!!! (6 years together!)... The first frost... Amazing skies... Party shoes... More christmas orders on their way... Time spent with my Tiny boy!

Tiny's 2nd birthday... My Christmas dress arrived... Saying goodbye to the final Christmas orders... And starting on MY christmas preparations... A trip to the animal sanctuary.... Pink skies.. Dew drops in the sun and kitten toes.

Christmas week... Sunny frosty days... Gingerbread house making... Wrapping and unwrapping... Special presents... Time spent with the people and animals I love... Lay ins and Magical moments!

WOW! I can't believe I survived in one piece... This year has been my craziest yet and Christmas was MAD! But not only did I survive with the support of some wonderful friends.. But I also had a magical time!

Here are a few of my favourite Christmas memories.....

Our first ever real tree!!

I had no idea how much of a difference it would make but it really did!

I LOVE my tree!

Making cards for my family

And friends

Christmas eve felt extra special this year...

And it was all down to these guys!

I love that at 13 we still hold on to that magic!

Then the big day...

My annual mirror photo..

I've taken one of these every year for 6 years... In the mirror in my Mum and Dad's hall..

Through the looking glass..

When I was a little girl I always thought this mirror was magic.. Because if you look into the reflection it was like looking at my Nan's house. Strange how Mum and Dad's was like the same house but reflected!

I was a very lucky girl as always this year... But one present was extra special and made me cry a little. My Mum had embroidered this for me... Isn't it wonderful?

And I had some funny ones..
Including Bernard the blob fish from my bro!

Separated at birth for sure!

The best thing about Christmas day is spending it with the people I love most...

and Dad's indoor firework display!

The only person missing... My Tiny boy!
He has to stay with his siblings because my parents have scaredy cats!

But we were reunited as soon as I got back!

I think he missed me as much as I missed him!

Yep! Fun was had by all!!!

I hope you had a lovely Christmas...
I was thoroughly spoilt!

Did YOU get anything fun?

And are you looking forward to the new adventure that is 2015??

I'd love to hear from you...
